On every post there will be the option to add or subtract a Karma point from the poster. The 'Thanks' button gives them 3 instead of 1. You need at least 20 posts to use this feature.

More profile stuff:
Friends, more stuff to type in including profile comments.

Points:
Automated now! Points are earned through posting (1) and making topics (3). You lose 'em for spam.

The +/- signs on the posts add/take Karma points. Make sure you don't spam this, even though it doesn't work completely yet.

Seriously though, the Top Ten Poster thing has caused some good competition, but caused a lot of spam too. Hopefully, the Karma thing will make people a bit more post-cautious.
