heres a fun discussion.
so, i want everyone to tell me what they believe happens after we die.

sometime last year i got a bit obsessive with this for like two weeks, not in a suicidal way, but trying to figure out what happens when we die. like, trying to decide what i believed in, etc. heavan, hell, nothingness, etc.
got kinda creepy and since then ive put it to the back of my mind.
but ive read about A LOT of different theorys about what happens.
i read a story for english last year, that to me, sounds like a really nice after life. better than heavan, honnestly. x) yes, it involves angels. yeahh, so the angels visits the recently died guy, and tells him all about the afterlife. and pretty much, you get to think of the best, i think it was 1 hour(half an hour?) of your life, and that feeling you had, and for the rest of eternity, you get to feel like that. or you got to reply that hour for the rest of your life, therefore feeling like that. i dont remember how it went, but it sounds nice, right?

but honnestly, i havent decided what i want to believe happens when i die. my mum says that as long as she dies and gets to spend the rest of eternity with her sister and dad, and then eventually her mum and us kids, she'll be happy. even if it is 'hell'. i dont know i believe that we so much as get to meet one another when we die. i think maybe we get to relive our lives over and over and learn where we went wrong, or mistakes, etc. till we finally get to move onto a new life of serenity. even that sounds nice to me. those who are to stubborn to learn from their mistakes are stuck in that limbo untill they can finally learn. plus, its nice to think that when i die, all my memories will come back to me. i'll be able to go back over my life and watch it over and over again like a movie, and relive all the good bits and study the bad. i hate that i dont always remember things, and that its so hard to bring back parts of nights or events. if i could relive the details, without having control, it'd be good. to just, sit back and watch it all.

but like i said, i dont really know. theres millions of different theories, varying from heaven to hell, to just, dying, and rotting where were burried and loosing everything and ending up with nothingness.

I've always avoided this topic when arguing with religion, because I consider it pretty grim. I think that once you die, you are gone. No afterlife, just nothing. No thought, no feeling. The idea of a utopian paradise sounds great, but I can't truly believe in such a thing. An interesting concept is reincarnation, at least its unique.

Not sure, maybe they just stay in limbo for a while?

I dont think id want 2 relive all the moments in my life.

maybe thats why the animals are dying out, they get riencarnated as people na i think if you think about what life is, life is what your senses tell you it is, when you die you have no senses and there for life is nothing, death has no feel and you just end there is no heaven, you brain stops so there is no conciousness and you cannot hear, feel, touch, taste or see anything. it is in every sense of the world not there it is nothing, we cannot percieve it and have nothing to percive it with.

what about the ancients.... cant we be like them.... if we devote ourselves enough we evolve into pure eenergy, that would be cool........ with all the wooshing and the swooshing.

but no, i dont believe in anything after death, its just nothingess, we return to the earth, every molecule of us, eventually we will, on a melecular level, be a new person.

you know.... we will become fertiliser....... then used in a vegetable stew for a pregant woamn and the nutrients passed on.

im reading a book now that deals in celtic magics and afterlife , their outlook is that of a circle , you die , your soul crosses into the afterlifes "waiting room" as such , then when time is right it will go back into the human world in a new body , and some souls who had a profound connection in the life before will vaguely recognise the other , but theyll not remember who the other was to them. kind of like deja vu'

i kinda believe in the whole heaven and hell thing but not that our deeds decide where we go i just believe that our souls go to another world sort of thing it kinda hard to explain. I just dont want to believe that we just die and thats it

well we eat food thats most likely got t-rex and a bit of diplodicus in it, we drink water that has had fishies eat other fishes in and be messy and not put the left overs in the underwater bin.

tiz pretty much like the earth, new crust forms whilst the old crust is pushed under and melted back down, to be later spewed out by a volcanoe again.....
